The white-browed laughingthrush (Pterorhinus sannio) is a bird species in the family Leiothrichidae. It is found in China, Hong Kong, India, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand, and Vietnam.
This species was formerly placed in the genus Garrulax but following the publication of a comprehensive molecular phylogenetic study in 2018, it was moved to the resurrected genus Pterorhinus.
Feed on small mollusks, berries, seeds and other plant materials
Its length is about 22 to 24 cm, weighed from 52 to 83 grams
He has feathers mostly brown, head, tail ends, dark brown wings, white eyebrows and cheeks and black mustache
He is not too shy and often found in groups
Breeding in February and August. It builds a compressed nest in the shape of a pot placed between half and six meters above the surface of the earth in a shrub or tree. The female puts from 3 to 4 eggs
